Reading’s goals were scored by John Swift, Daniel Williams and Roy Beerens, while Brentford’s goals were scored by Peleteiro Ramallo and Lasse Vibe.
With their goals, John Swift increases his goal tally to seven league goals in the English Championship this season while Roy Beerens increases his tally to six.
Because of their win, Jaap Stam’s Reading side remain in the thick of the promotion battle in fourth place while Brentford remain in 15th position.
