Newcastle v Arsenal (Prediction 1-0)
Newcastle have lost of all their last ten meetings with Arsenal.
The Gunners have won the last four meetings by just the one goal (three 1-0 wins and one 2-1). Rafa Benitez has got Newcastle in a position that one can assume they are safe from relegation, just two points away from the forty-points safety barrier.
Arsenal are now prioritising the Europa League and who knows what line-up they could field today. I fancy Newcastle to take this one and end the previously mentioned dismal record against Arsenal, whilst extending their league form to four wins from four games.
Man Utd v West Brom (Prediction 3-1)
Manchester United have only beaten West Brom at Old Trafford once since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
That is a poor record in all senses and needs to be amended, starting today. West Brom are pretty much relegated now and United should not be dropping points in this game. When I add a prediction to my prediction it never quite seems to come to fruition, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to stop.
I’m going to add that I think Romelu Lukaku will score a hat-trick.
