Cristiano Ronaldo has recently stated that he is “sad”. This short statement has resulted in huge media speculation about his future at Real Madrid.
The basic truth is this: Cristiano will not leave Madrid anytime soon.
That bold statement has a lot of information and research behind it. Cristiano did not release a statement saying that he is unhappy, he just replied to a question in a press-conference. He just said why he did not celebrate. He has also released a statement that disproved the most used theory, that he wants more money.
Cristiano is a worldwide icon and probably Real Madrids biggest star, yet that doesn’t mean that Perez would not sell him if he thought that he is damaging the teams image. The club is still much more important than any single player.
Every one of us as humans are sad sometimes. Cristiano is just not completely satisfied with his current situation at Madrid, but the media has exaggerated the statement severely.
Basically he is sad, but transfers aren’t agreed on emotions so CR7 will still be wearing white come next season.
