According to reports, Leeds United are close to signing Alfonso Pedraza on a loan deal from Villarreal.

Villarreal are reportedly going to cut the Spanish youth international’s loan deal short with Lugo in order to facilitate this move.

As reported by the Daily Star:

“Villarreal winger Alfonso Pedraza is set to join Leeds on loan with a view to making a permanent transfer, according to reports.

The Spain Under-21 international is currently on loan from his parent club at Lugo in the Spanish second tier.

But AS report Villarreal are ready to pay more than £250,000 to end the loan early so Pedraza can move to England.

They say the 20-year-old will sign with Garry Monk’s side on a temporary deal until the end of the season.”
