According to reports, Newcastle are in talks with Crystal Palace over signing their winger Andros Townsend.
The Magpies are reportedly looking at signing the 25 year old on a loan deal, while Crystal Palace seek a permanent one.
As reported by HITC:
“According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace have held further talks with Newcastle United over a potential deal to send Andros Townsend back to St. James’ Park.
Townsend, 25, left Tottenham Hotspur in January of last year in order to join Newcastle, penning a five-and-a-half year deal with the Magpies having been frozen out at Spurs.
The winger impressed in Newcastle’s battle against relegation, hitting four goals and two assists whilst starring under Rafael Benitez as the Magpies suffered relegation to the Championship.”
