According to the latest gossip, Marco Reus is high on Arsenal’s priority list if Alexis Sanchez decides to leave this summer.
Sanchez has been embroiled in contract negotiations with a conclusion not seemingly in sight.
As reported by the Mirror:
“The Gunners are reportedly fearful that their star man will not agree terms on a new deal and will walk out on the Emirates in the near future.
Arsenal chiefs are allegedly making contingency plans and Reus is believed to be the man topping their list of potential replacements.
Reus scored over 20 goals in two of his last three seasons with Borussia Dortmund and could receive a tidy pay rise if he swapped the Bundesliga for the Premier League.
Sanchez is reportedly still on a stand-off over his new deal, which he is demanding to be worth at least £200,000 a week.”
