Michy Batshuayi, everyone’s favourite footballer on Twitter, might be set for a move away from the Premier League, just one year after joining Chelsea for £33 million.

Despite scoring the winning goal against West Brom last Friday and confirming that the title would preside at Stamford Bridge for a fifth time, Antoine Conte is ready to let him leave London.

According to The Mirror, Batshuayi has attracted interest from Monaco, as well as West Ham, who were beaten by the Blues for the Belgian’s signature.

The Verdict

It would seem a little folly to release Batshuayi, but Conte does not wait.

If Batshuayi has not shown enough fight on the training pitch there is little chance Conte will put up with it any longer; having said that, the youngster has looked threatening when he’s come off the bench for Chelsea.

There is certainly promise, but he will need to realise it fairly quickly if he is to remain at Stamford Bridge.

With Diego Costa’s future uncertain, Conte may just keep hold of Batshuayi until he has set out his plans for the summer.

Regardless, the Belgian faces an uncertain offseason.
