Jurgen Klopp is seeking to strengthen his squad as he mounts an assault on the Premier League title.

Liverpool’s abundant flair going forward has often been undercut by their dismal defending, with goalkeeping mistakes grabbing the headlines.

Poor keepers

Summer signing Loris Karius, recently dropped, has made a number of unforgivable mistakes, costing the Reds vital points.

Further to this, Simon Mignolet has never been rated amongst Reds’ faithful.

Now, with half of the season gone and Liverpool still in the running for their maiden Premier League title, Klopp will turn to exiled Manchester City keeper Joe Hart.

Keen on signing Hart

The Mirror are reporting that Klopp has begun negotiations with Hart and is keen on his arrival.

Joe Hart is a Premier League winner and his experience is seen as a major attraction for the Liverpool boss.

Coupled this with his composed shot stopping, with the exception of a horrible EURO 2016 campaign, Hart could be the key ingredient the Reds need to finally become Premier League champions.
