Sergio Aguero is cutting an unhappy figure at Manchester City this season, as Pep Guardiola harbours doubts over his aptness for his system.

The arrival of Gabriel Jesus has further polluted the clouds over the Argentinian’s head as he has made a rapid start to life at City, scoring a last minute winner against Swansea during the weekend.

Thus, it is only natural that he has set the radars of the biggest clubs going.

PSG are the first club to seek an agreement with the prolific striker.

Doubts

Although Guardiola publicly stated he sees a future for Aguero at City, serious doubts remain.

Patrick Kluivert, Director of Sport at PSG, has held numerous discussions with board members at the Etihad and Aguero’s name has been raised several times, according to the Daily Mirror.

Expensive

Aguero still has considerable time left on his contract, however and would be an expensive option for the French club.

City would demand a fee in the region of £50 million and PSG would have to match his current weekly salary of £240,000.
