According to the latest reports, West Ham are planning on offering loan deals to Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the hope of signing one of them in January.
As reported by the Daily Express:
“West Ham sit 13th in the table, four points above the relegation zone, and Slaven Bilic is concerned by his striker options.
Simone Zaza has failed to meet expectations, while Andre Ayew, Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll have struggled with injuries.
Ashley Fletcher has had to lead the line on occasions but has managed just one goal this term.
And according to The Telegraph, Bilic is now targeting Manchester United’s Rashford and Martial.
The Hammers boss hopes to take one of them on loan by offering them regular game time in east London – something they have failed to get at United under Jose Mourinho this term.
Despite both players finding it difficult to adapt on the wing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in fine form up front, Mourinho is unlikely to let them leave.”
