The battle begins now who ever gets the right deals will surely lift the trophy come May.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)

The Gabon forward - who plays for Borussia Dortmund - was in the form of his life last season scoring 39 goals in 49 games.

This season he continues from where he left from scoring 16 goals from 18 games.

It’s clear to see why he is linked to City who depend on Sergio Kun Aguero and the young Iheanacho for goals.

At 27 years old he is at the peak of his powers.

Virgil van Dijk (Southampton)

The Dutch centre-back who was signed from Celtic and plays for Southampton is one of the most aerial dominant defenders and good with the ball at his feet.

At 25 years old, he is tipped to replace Vincent Kompany who has suffered from recurring injury problems.

City are good going forward, but their defense can’t hold it together so with the addition of Van Dijk the defense will improve.

Faouzi Ghoulam (Napoli)

Chelsea still look to strengthen their defense with a new left-back.

The wing backs have been so important to the way Conte wants to play, so it’s no surprise he would like to have two players.

If need be he can play Alonso in the left center-back position. Ghoulam has 5 assists in all competitions so far, and at 25 years he is destined for greatness.

Felipe Anderson (Lazio)

The Lazio and Brazilian midfielder, aged 23, is a top transfer target for Chelsea.

He is very flexible and able to play a number of positions. With the upcoming African Cup of Nations, Chelsea will lose Victor Moses so he can replicate his performances.

To date Anderson has 2 goals and 5 assists in the serie A. The lad can also compete for a place in the front three.
