Here is a look at top four players in the English Premier League who have performed well so far this season.
Let’s take a look at the statistics for every player as we all believe stats don’t lie at all.
Diego Costa
The Chelsea beast.
He is the most improved player in the League focusing less on fights and arguments and more on scoring goals.
Alongside Hazard and Pedro, he has great understanding to penetrate and cause havoc to any defense.
To date, he has scored 9 goals and assisted 3 making cementing him - as of writing - as the league’s top scorer.
A real contender for the golden boot this season.
Kevin De Bruyne
The former Chelsea reject is continuing to light up the EPL just as he did last season.
He leads the assists board with 6 and has scored 2 goals himself.
No defender dreams to play against De Bruyne because he is quite difficult to silence for the entire 90 minutes.
Tom Heaton
The Burnley and England international goalkeeper.
By far the best goalkeeper in the league, as he has made 62 saves. Notably that magnificent save to stop Zlatan’s strike against United.
Heaton earned his second cap against Spain recently replacing Hart after proving to be too good to be left out.
If Heaton had world class defenders on his side, man would he keep a lot of clean sheets.
N’Golo Kante
Since the league commenced, Kante has hit the ground running tirelessly.
The new engine room for Chelsea has tremendous statistics so far this season averaging 6 tackles, 4 interceptions, 14 ball recoveries, 95 % successful takeons and a 89% pass accuracy per game.
Arguably the best signing of the season as he has solidified Chelsea’s midfield and given more freedom to the club’s attackers.
