The dynamic Tottenham duo of Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen were under the gaze of Barcelona’s Sporting Director during their impressive performance away to Real Madrid.
According to Mundo Deportivo– via TalkSport – Robert Fernandez was present to scout two of the best players at Tottenham.
Various reports speculate that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in bringing Kane to La Liga and Eriksen has long since been on Barcelona’s radar.
Kane’s form has been sensational, that much is obvious; yet Eriksen’s performances have not been given the praise they deserve.
Integral to Spurs’ attacking play, the Dane’s vision and creativity enable the likes of Kane to thrive.
To lose both players in one swoop, as some are suggesting Barcelona might do, would be devastating. Tottenham should not accept anything less than £200 million for Kane – today’s market dictates such ludicrous fees – and Eriksen should not be let go for anything less than £70 million.
Were they to be both sold these fees would at least give Tottenham sizeable funds to find adequate replacements, but their primary goal should be keep hold of two vital players.
