According to reports, Crystal Palace have swooped in to try and seal a deal with Sevilla for midfielder Vicente Iborra.

The 29 year old has been a part of the side that has won three consecutive Europa League crowns.

As reported by HITC:

“Crystal Palace are close to agreeing a £12 million fee for Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra, according to the Sun.

Iborra, who started the Andalusians’ dramatic win against Real Madrid on Sunday, is said to have held talks with the Eagles ahead of a ‘lucrative move’ to Selhurst Park.

The six-foot-three Spaniard is reportedly keen to test himself in English football, having previously been a target for West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland, whom Palace boss Sam Allardyce left in the summer.

Fellow Premier League sides Watford and Everton were linked with Iborra (WD Sport) at the start of the month, however Palace look to have won the race for his signature.”
