According to reports, Marseille are lining up a bid for Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye.

The 31 year old French midfielder is reportedly valued by Crystal Palace at 16 million.

As reported by The Mirror:

“Marseille are confident of a deal to sign Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye — even though the Eagles want a staggering £16million.

Midfielder Cabaye is among a number of players being targeted by the resurgent French club, who are also trying to land West Ham’s Dimitri Payet.

Marseille were taken over last summer by American businessman Frank McCourt, who has promised to invest huge sums to challenge for the title and take the club into Europe.

Coach Rudi Garcia has made the 31-year-old France international a priority and Palace boss Sam Allardyce needs as much as he can claw back from sales to reinvest into his struggling team.”
