Hello to everyone reading this. This article goes out in particular to gooners! There will be a lot to look forward to this coming season, so have a read of this to get your first ideas! Come on you gunners!
Tactics
It looks like our Arsene, has a change this season! Mr.Wenger looks to be throwing away the 4-2-3-1, to get a formation involving 2 strikers! With the signing of Podolski, and potential signing of Giroud, we could be seeing a nice attacking game!
Two upfront would be a relief for me to see, for one! Many would agree, that RvP was basically our only source of goals. Walcott got 8, which is respectable but not for your second highest goalscorer! I like Van Persie in the no.10 role, behind the striker.
With a target man, and clinical finisher in Giroud upfront, this season should await attacking, free-flowing, and fun-to-watch football from the gunners!
Lukas Podolski

Lukas Podolski, a player who can play along the front line, is a very exciting prospect. And unlike others I’ll mention in this article, we’ve already sealed his signature, and seen him in the Arsenal shirt. I can’t wait to see his direct play, with his strength, pace, and a hammer of a left foot!
Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud is the typical no.9. A threat from set-pieces and crosses, Giroud could be just what we need. We’ve lacked height, strength, and aggression. Giroud will bring all 3. Scoring 21 goals in the league this season, and topping the Ligue 1 top scorers list (alongside Nené), he is a clinical finisher.
We (arguably) already have that in Robin, but he even missed some important chances, like the one-on-one vs Paddy Kenny, away at QPR. It usually takes Olivier one chance, and hopefully we’ll see the net bulge a lot thanks to him at the Emirates and elsewhere.
Yann M’Vila

I love Yann M’Vila. He is definitely going to fill a whole in this team, providing he joins. His tackling, passing and drive reminds me a bit of Patrick Vieira. He also has aggresion, and passion. At the young age of 21, M’Vila already starts (or appears) for France.
He is pure quality, which is why European giants such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich all wanted him. Those three have all backed out, leaving Arsenal and Man City to fight it out.
M’Vila would prefer a move to Arsenal, quoting “I want to go to Arsenal, I know that they are interested in me, and I’m interested in them. We’ll see how things evolve”. We certainly will.
** The next three are just rumours, so they are not as likely as the three above. **
Clint Dempsey

Most people have heard of this man. The wonderful american is very versatile. If I was to compare him to an Arsenal legend, I’d say Bergkamp.
He plays in the whole behind the striker, and provides good attacking strength, hard work defensively, and a good aerial threat.
Jan Vertonghen

Even though Vertonghen is edging closer to a move to white *art lan*,its still possible he’ll be a gooner next season. He’s a quality player, a left footed defender who can play centre-back or left back.
This will be vital, as we have struggled this last season, having to play the likes of Coquelin and Djourou in unfamiliar full-back positions. If we could sign Vertonghen, and another similar defender we’d be sorted for next year.
Fun-filled match days
Despite what people say, the Emirates is getting louder game by game. I have had season tickets since the opening of the Emirates. It started off, as a boring quiet place, and no where near as loud as Highbury. As the years have gone on though, the atmosphere has grown.
This season the fans have sung their hearts out, most notably when we stuffed the scum 5-2, beat City 1-0, and when we were being held by the likes of Wolves and Norwich, the fans urged the players forward. This shows that with the players, we are growing in confidence.

Arsenal are spending all their time and money to recruit forward line players. Last year defense caused us to concede too many goals. We should really have not let Vertonghen slip through our fingers. With Sagna out for an indefinite time, what have we learned to take care of our defense?

I agree. I'm the writer, and I think our main priority should be defenders, especially full-backs! I like Jenkinson, but only for back up. Bac's getting old, sadly.
