Forget Mane: Klopp wants to sign this forward as Salah’s perfect partner

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is set to be raid his former club Borussia Dortmund for star striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the winter transfer window.

Aubameyang is getting more frustrated about life at Dortmund as he continues to fall out with the club according to the Express.

The 28-year-old Gabonese has been on the radar of a number of clubs for a while now. After winning the Bundesliga Golden Boot for his goalscoring exploits last season, the player has received even more attention from Europe’s best clubs.

He has picked up from where he left off last season by scoring 17 goals in 19 games so far. He however still wants to leave Signal Iduna Park after his transfer request last summer was denied.

Despite starting the campaign on a high note, Dortmund and Aubameyang may be in one of the trying times of the season for them. With just a single win in their last 11 games, coach Peter Bosz has been under the scrutiny and might likely lose his job soon.

Aubameyang have also been spearheading some of the rancour in the team after being dropped for the game against Stuttgart due to his late arrival to training. As expected, they lost the game. His dismissal in the dramatic 4-4 draw against Schalke after Dortmund led 4-0 at half time have also added to their woes.

Because of such incidents, Dortmund are seemingly willing to let him go and Liverpool seems to be the frontrunner in the chase as Klopp is eager to reunite with his former player.
