EPL Predictions: Liverpool to sweep aside wounded Watford?

Bournemouth v West Brom (Prediction 3-1)

Bournemouth could move up to 10th place with a win on Saturday as Brighton are in FA Cup action against Manchester United and Watford face a trip to Anfield in the late kick-off.

They sit three points behind the Hornets and have only two goals to make up for in goal difference. A great opportunity is afforded to the Cherries as they face the everything-but relegated West Bromwich Albion.

West Brom have only won the one away game all season and they are showing very little sign of turning their losing form of six league games in a row around. Though West Brom have beaten Bournemouth in their last two meetings, they haven’t won a Premier League game for what is now over 2 months.

An easy Bournemouth win is on the cards.

Huddersfield v Crystal Palace (Prediction 2-1)

Huddersfield have shown a fair bit of improvement in their form recently and whilst Crystal Palace have lost their last four, three of them were against the like of Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Though I don’t think things are quite going Crystal Palace’s way right now and I can see them struggling. Nobody is safe in this relegation battle and Huddersfield will be keen to add another three points to their tally, Palace aren’t without motivation themselves as they fight to get out of the relegation zone.

These sides have met twice already this season, Huddersfield won 3-0 at Selhurst Park in the League back in August and Palace got revenge at the same stadium with a 1-0 win in the League Cup.

Huddersfield to edge it, for me.

Stoke v Everton (Prediction 1-0)

This in two ways of looking at it is a good opportunity for both sides.

Stoke, who like Crystal Palace find themselves in the relegation zone, need all the points they can get in the fight to beat the drop, but those points aren’t coming easily to them, however Everton’s away form is something that allows Stoke to be very hopeful of a home win.

Whilst Everton of course look to put the cooking negativity out with an away win to end a run that is ever-extending from mid-December.

Stoke are without a win in their last four meetings with Everton, will that change? I think so.

Liverpool v Watford (Prediction 3-1)

Liverpool need to get back on track in the league immediately after last week’s loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford, I couldn’t resist including that.

Seriously though, they are one loss away from handing Chelsea some hope in the race to be in next season’s Champions League. I think Chelsea will put up a fight for the rest of the season, Spurs and Liverpool are going to have to match them.

Watford won’t be beaten without a fight tomorrow as they showed in the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road, a 3-3 draw. I still see Liverpool cruising to victory though.
