Jose Mourinho is eyeing up a stunning move for Arsenal star Mesut Ozil, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Reunion
Mourinho is hoping for a reunion after Ozil blossomed under his management at Real Madrid.
Ozil has just one year left on his current contract, and has yet to commit his future to the Gunners.
Mourinho was left fuming when Ozil was sold for £42.5 million by Madrid, without his consent, to Arsenal.
Fury
An Ozil exit to Old Trafford would spark fury at the Emirates – it could mirror the scenes when Robin van Persie left for the Reds, winning a title in his maiden year, a feat he was not granted under a lengthy spell at Arsenal.
Mourinho has publically spoken about his desire to add more creativity to an attack, criticising his current forwards and moaning about their lack of punch in the final third.
It is believed Mourinho thinks Ozil can add that extra touch of magic when it matters.
