EPL Predictions: Big Sam’s Everton to upset high-flying Manchester City?

Crystal Palace v Liverpool (Prediction 1-1)

Crystal Palace have a habit of getting something out of their games against Liverpool here and there.

They’ve beaten Liverpool four times in four years, all in the league, with three of those wins at the “fortress” Anfield. All of Liverpool’s league losses this season have come away from home which will give Palace some reason to be optimistic at Selhurst Park tomorrow and they can get a result.

Score draw.

Brighton v Leicester (Prediction 2-1)

Earlier in the season, these sides met at the King Power Stadium, with Leicester victorious by two goals to nil.

Aside from the 4-1 win over West Brom, Leicester haven’t been on their best form of late and I’m willing to take a chance on Brighton getting themselves three points closer to safety.

Man Utd v Swansea (Prediction 1-0)

United and Swansea have met twice already this season after drawing each other in the League Cup.

United won both meetings, the first 4-0 and the second 2-0. Swansea are a better side now under Carlos Carvalhal, you cannot question the fact that they’ve improved and if they stay up, he’ll have been a fine appointment by the Welsh club.

United to win by the one goal.

Newcastle v Huddersfield (Prediction 2-0)

Newcastle haven’t lost a home game in the Premier League since leaders Manchester City visited St James’ Park in December, I don’t think Huddersfield will change that.

I’m also going to go with a clean sheet for the toon.

Watford v Bournemouth (Prediction 2-1)

It’s going to be another home win here. Watford boss Javi Gracia is three from three at Vicarage Road since taking charge of the hornets. They seem to bring their best out at home.

Bournemouth will pose a threat but I don’t think they’ll have enough. A win will put Watford back into the top 10.

West Brom v Burnley (Prediction 0-1)

I find it hard to predict West Brom getting any more points this season. They’ll probably get a point or three in the odd game but I’m going to go with my usual one nil to Burnley here.

West Ham v Southampton (Prediction 0-2)

I’m seeing another messy day at the London stadium for the home fans.

Mark Hughes got his Southampton reign to a winning start, beating Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup before the international break and whilst Premier League West Ham are an entirely different proposition I think this Southampton side is much better than it has shown and they should win.

Everton v Man City (Prediction 1-0)

Here is the bold prediction for this week! Everton are going to beat Manchester City. Somehow, they will beat them.

Believe me or don’t believe me, it will happen. Ok, I may be barking mad but Everton have won their last two and Big Sam is due a big result, today could just simply be the day of the Toffee!
