Reports have been flying left and right with news of a deal finally agreed upon between Liverpool and Barcelona for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho this January window.
The 25 year old playmaker was the subject of a well-documented pursuit by Barcelona over the summer to soften the blow of losing Neymar to French side PSG for a world-record fee. An agreement was never made between the two sides, even after Coutinho submitted a transfer request to move the deal forward.
However, bygones be bygones, Barcelona look to have finally wrapped a deal for their highly-regarded target. The Brazil international has reportedly agreed on a five and half year deal worth over £12 million a season.
The fee is reportedly valued at up to £142 million.
