According to reports, Chelsea have told Bournemouth that they must pay up in order to sign their keeper Asmir Begovic.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has played second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois receiving little gametime in the process.

Bournemouth have reportedly tabled an offer, which has been refused by the Blues.

As reported by The Mirror:

“Chelsea want £12million from Bournemouth for keeper Asmir Begovic.

Eddie Howe has targeted the 29-year-old Bosnian who has made just four appearances this season.

Bournemouth are already understood to have had an offer of £10million turned down but Chelsea are ready to do business if they are able to rake in a profit for the man they signed for £8million two years ago.

Begovic would replace 36-year-old Artur Boruc at Bournemouth and knows the south coast from his time there playing for Portsmouth over a five-year spell.”
