A Football Poem: Good Luck To Fleetwood Town

Good luck to little Fleetwood
Town they could be soon
To the English Championship
their players are so devoted.

They’ve played great all
season that is evident,
If they win promotion – they’ll
feel like a president!

They are the manx army,
at their ground at; Highbury,
Just up the road from
Blackpool – they are also
also known as the ‘cod

They are just a small team
but very big on ambition,
They’ve got to were they
are with sheer determination.

All their fans are well behaved
that is good to see,
And when it is half time –
you can go paddling in the

This team go from strength
to strength, and that is not
a lie,
They do deserve promotion –
this we can’t deny.

Let’s all get behind this team,
cos it really is a dream,
Winning promotion to an
upper league would be so

Good luck to little Fteetwood
Town, that is what I say,
Go for it lads – make a name
for yourselves, and hail this
historic day.
