According to reports, Everton defender Phil Jagielka is being chased by West Ham and Sunderland.

The 34 year old has been a mainstay in Everton’s defence throughout the 10 years he’s spent so far at Goodison Park.

As reported by the Daily Star:

“Jagielka, 34, could be nearing the end of his stay at Goodison Park.

He’s been a regular at the back since joining from Sheffield United in 2007.

But with Ronald Koeman looking to revamp his squad and bring in some fresh faces, Jagielka could be on the way out.

The centre-back is wanted by Premier League rivals West Ham and Sunderland, report the Daily Mail.

And it’s claimed the England international will speak with the club’s hierarchy to find out where he stands.

Koeman is after a new centre-back, with Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk on their radar.”
