Tottenham Hotspur are confident of landing their star-target this summer.

Spurs will table a £30 million bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.

The story is reported by The Sun, who also believe German side RB Leipzig and Inter Milan are chasing the crafty winger’s signature.

Long term admirer?

Pochettino is said to be a long-term admirer of Zaha, and had a £12 million bid rejected last summer; since his stock has risen significantly with a number of impressive performances and mouth-watering goals.

Could he be tempted?

Zaha penned a deal with Palace up until 2020 after re-joining from Manchester United, and is believed to be on around £40,000.

Spurs are capable of offering a substantial pay-rise and the lure of Champions League football might be enough to draw him from Selhurst Park.

If he does join Spurs, it will be a second chance to prove that he is good enough for the top-level.

He suffered a disastrous spell at United, where he struggled for game-time and failed to take his opportunities – as so many do at Old Trafford.
