In official news, AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the club are in talks with Everton over signing Gerard Deulofeu on a loan deal.

The Spanish winger hasn’t experienced much game-time under Koeman this season.

As reported by the Liverpool Echo:

“AC Milan have been linked with the Everton winger all January, and Middlesbrough were also said to be admirers yesterday.

Deulofeu has been left out of recent matchday squads by Koeman, and Milan are now keen to secure a loan deal for the Spaniard’s services.

“I don’t like to make predictions on what Milan could achieve this season, as I don’t know the future, but what happened so far is very good,” AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani told Mediaset Premium.

“We are talking for Deulofeu, but there is no agreement yet. Everton know full well we can only do loans or with option to buy. Plus there are these pro-Barcelona clauses.

“Tomorrow we will discuss it and try to find a solution, otherwise we’ll remain with the squad as we are.””
