Oh, here’s a tasty rumor for you all.

According to Don Balon, Man United are interested in making a move for Barca star forward Luis Suarez.

Yes, that Suarez, who starred for United’s long-time rivals Liverpool. And yes, the same man who had that infamous spat with United legend (I think he’s considered a legend, right?) Patrice Evra.

Qualities

Well, we all know should acknowledge that, despite, his dubious attitude, Suarez is a top quality player. He’s a fantastic dribbler, difficult to mark, fantastic finisher, creative and has the knack of scoring worldies.

The Uruguayan is also versatile, who can play as a striker or behind the striker, and I believe he can even play on the wings.

With such qualities, Suarez has proven himself as one of the world’s finest forwards at Barca finish top of the goalscoring charts in La Liga last season.

Why him?

Despite an impressive start, Ibra has gone stale in recent weeks enduring an incresingly-lengthy goalless spell. While on the other hand, neither Rashford nor Martial have been able to offset the Swede’s goalscoring drought.

With such issues in front of goal, it’s no wonder to see United in such poor form and it comes as no surprise to see a forward in Suarez’s calibre linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Griezmann or Suarez?

Of course, I believe Mourinho has a better chance of signing Griezmann than the Uruguayan star, but if there’s even the slightest chance of him getting a hold of Suarez, then he’s worth a shot.

I know United fans have understandable beef with the ex-Liverpool star, but still: it’s Luis Suarez. A genuine world-class forward in the prime of his career.
